The Pod Squad is an example of how we empower girls to have a voice and navigate diverse learning opportunities.
The ‘OLSH Pod Squad’ was formed as a Co-Curricular group in 2020.
A group of students from Years 7-10 met regularly to brainstorm ideas and see what evolved. They recorded several live podcasts and went on to win the Most Listened to Podcast of 2020 in the Arch D Radio Awards, with listeners from over 50 countries.

‘Startcaster’ training with James through Arch D radio continues to be very popular. Our girls are learning new skills and mentoring their peers as they continue the evolution of the Pod Squad.

Life Lessons
Life lessons is a new series launched by the OLSH Podsquad where OLSH students identify relevant issues, and interview someone in the OLSH or wider community to get valuable pieces of advice and ‘life lessons’. In this first podcast, we hear from Kbora Ali, OLSH Alumnae and UNICEF Ambassador, and her colleague Daniel. Their honest, genuine and reflective words are sure to leave you inspired; they certainly did for us!
