Welcome
International Students
We welcome your interest in choosing a school for your daughter. It is a most important decision. The quality of this home away from home experience will, to a great extent, predict a happy and successful future for your daughter.
The College was founded more than 70 years ago by the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. Our outstanding academic achievement leads graduates on to university courses, in fields such as Economics, Law, Pharmacy, Business and Medicine. The South Australian education system is excellent and qualifications are recognised throughout the world.
Parents need, above all, peace of mind when their daughters are studying overseas and we particularly assure you of our supportive supervision and care both academically and pastorally. Girls enjoy their time here and make valuable friendships which last a lifetime.
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College provides a world class school level education as a pathway to Australian and International Universities through academic success, support and guidance. We offer a wide range of subject choices and co-curricular opportunities giving every girl the opportunity to excel.
At OLSH College, we specialise in Sciences, Mathematics, and Information and Communication Technologies, offering strong academic pathways to a wide range of tertiary studies, including Commerce, Law, Medicine, Engineering, Nursing, Hospitality, and more. Our students learn in a safe, supportive environment, with small class sizes, personalised academic guidance, and language support across all subjects.
Our dedicated International team works closely with each student to build confidence and provide continuous care, alongside Homeroom teachers and Year Level Coordinators who monitor academic and personal progress. Our modern campus features specialised ICT labs, science laboratories, art and music rooms, a Performing Arts Centre, a well-resourced library, and dynamic learning technologies across all classrooms.
The Senior Campus and Language Centre further enhance learning, global connection, and community spirit. We welcome international students from countries including Hong Kong, Vietnam, Japan, Korea, and China.
Located just 7.5km from central Adelaide — Australia’s most affordable and liveable city — the College is easily accessible by public transport. With beaches, parks, and universities nearby, OLSH College is the perfect place for your daughter to learn, grow, and thrive.

Homestay
At the College we take our guardianship of International Students very seriously. Parents need, above all, peace of mind when their daughters are studying overseas and we particularly assure you of our care. We believe that successful study is enhanced by living in a secure environment. The quality of your daughter’s home away from home experience will, to a great extent, predict a happy and successful future for her. The Australian Homestay Network will find a home, near Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College, for your daughter while she studies at the College. If any problems arise with a student’s homestay, they should be reported to the International Program Officer. All homestay placements are made by the Australian Homestay Network (AHN) and meet the Government commended industry standards.
